About The Author

Timmorgan I started in the broadcast field on the first day of my education in electronics at the vocational-technical school in Austin, MN. I worked at the PBS station in Austin through my schooling then was employed full time and continued for another year until moving to Minneapolis to build channel 23. I worked for channel 23 for 10 years in which I have seen many different ways of broadcast operations and transmissions. They started broadcasting a scrambled signal then were the first to broadcast stereo with music videos all day long. From there, they operated as a regular independent station then eventually were purchased by Sinclair Broadcasting. I then took employment at KXLI/KXLT out of Big Lake, MN. While at KXLI/KXLT, I built another station, channel 45, with a downtown Minneapolis studio. I then took employment at KTTC and have been working here for over 10 years. Working at KTTC has been very exciting with the building the first high power digital transmitter back in September of 2000, then moving the station to its current location with the combination with KXLT along with many other challenging tasks.
